Thrill Kill NTSC on epsxe

Hello, I'm new to this so please bare with me. I've been reading through several threads on here and many other sites with know luck in finding a helpful answer...:dead:

I just hope that I am not violating any forum rules.

Is there anyone that can help me to play "Thrill Kill" on my pc with epsxe? I've tried the square and x button combo at the black screen, but it still does abolutely nothing. I've tried using .bin, .cue, .iso, .ccd, .img, .mds, and .mdf files. I also have a NTCS version of "Thrill Kill" burned to cd that played fine on my ps2 before I broke my ps2, but it will do nothing with epsxe. I have been successful in playing other games that are either in .ccd and .img file format or from original psx game discs. Any other format has been useless to me.

I'm using the following plugins and they all work great:

Video = Pete's Open GL2 Driver 2.9
Sound = P.E.Op.S. DSound Audio Driver 1.9
CD Rom = ePSXe CDR ASPI core 1.7.0.

Bios = SCPH1001

I'm using a PS3 controller via usb which works completely configured as [SCPH] DualAnolog (F5).

Here is my video configuration:

Everything seems to be working wonderfully except for this one awesome game!!!! I received my first copy in 2000 which was a full version with music and all that I played on my modded PSX. Now that I can tweak the graphics and whatnot I'd really like to get this working on my pc.

Any help is much appreciated!

I know what you mean, the emulator does not showing up the text "press square and x buttons to play this game" I do not why the text does not appearing, but you must press anyway square and then X and then the game will start working properly. :lol:

I was furious because my game could not start, but then I remembered that you must press these buttons to accept to play the violent game.
I imagine the OP either moved on or solved their problem, since they created this thread 6 years ago.
