I had posted this before, but it seemed to disapeer when the forum went down. After I beat the final boss with Rue, I run into problems. On the 160, the game blacksout when the escape begins and I can only bring up the start menu. On the 152, the game freezes when you bend down over the girl. What should I do? Thank you.

If not, post the memcard. Someone will try and help you to overcome this problem.

What other emulator should I use and how will be able to transfer my memory to that emulator? If that does not work, how do I post my memory? Thank you.

PSXeven uses the same memcard format. As does PCSX IIRC

I am having tons of problems using the psxeven. When I try to open my save file, the program exits. How do I deal with this, and could someone tell me how to post my memory data so someone can help me get me to the escape part. Thank you.

As I mentioned in the PM, tell us a little more detail: What plugins are you using? What version of PSXeven? What are your specs?

I am using psxeven .18, the latest one. I am playing off an ISO made from the CD. The plugins I am using are the same I have been using with epsxe (Pete's 2, Eternal Spu, SaPU CD). Here are the pictures. The game also seems to be a PAL version from Paradox (A friend gave me the CD). My specs are: Pentium 4, 512 RAM, Radeon 9600/9700. The game real well up to this point on epsxe 160, so I do not get why I am having problems now. Hope this helps. Thanks.

Simple. Just attach the memcard here. Your memcards are located in the /memcards in ePSXe root folder.

Ensure you also have a PAD plugin.

I tried attaching it and it said it does not accept that file type. Also what is a PAD plugin?

You have to zip up the file for the forum to let you attach it. A pad plugin emulates the PlayStation controller. I recommend using Harakiri's plugin, which you can get here.

This is my memory card. I had already dealt w/ the gamepad issue. My gamepad works fine. The problem is that the program exits when I load the save file. Could someone please tell me how to get the psxeven to work or play my game till you get a little past the area that I am having trouble with. Thank you.

All you should have to do is select your plugins by clicking on the Advanced button then going to the plugin manager tab. The settings are carried over from ePSXe so you don't need to worry about them. Next, go to the memory card manager tab, click Browse, then point it to your memory card file. You should also get Harakiri's plugin if you're not using your keyboard to control the game and if you're using the keyboard, make sure you set the keys by double clicking on Segu's plugin in the Pad1 box at the bottom of the plugin manager tab.

I am using the same plugins and i have access to my memory card. The game is loaded, but when I go to load my game from the continue screen, it plays a little music and then exits abruptly, so it is something else. I will double check my plugins just in case, but I do not think that is the problem. Playing my game is fine with me so i can continue the game, so please use my file. Thanks.
