Seems like the new Eternal SPU improved a little bit the compatibility in a Thousand Arms. See screenshot below.

The first dialog plays alright, but it freezes just after that. I'll experiment with the settings a little bit, see if I can get any other improvements.

You can get even MORE close

You need use Eternal plugin with Sio-irq option"s" enabled and
this patch: (US-version)
23458 0

Type that in a file, and run epsxe with -loadcheat filename
or load the file from the epsxe menu cheats
I haven't tested it only some minutes, so i don't know if
it is fully playable, anyway enjoy.

Hey, it works! There are a couple bugs in the speech, but overall seems to run fine. I'm attaching the cheat file I created for those of you who are too lazy to make you own.

just to clearify....(in my words since i had to figure this out!!)
open ePSXeCutor configure the whatever...
go 2 options after creating a config...or what ever..
then in command line type -loadcheat thousand_arms_ntsc.cht
^^ another lazy bum to add to the list

um....o yea....don't forget to download the cht thing in above posts....and also.... er...turn on Sio-irq

Check the CD-Rom configuration, and see if it's pointing to the correct drive letter.

I played till the part where Meis just got the mineral and I went back to the town.
When I entered Jaybil's smithy, the girls rush in and then after sodina speaks, it hangs there..............

Anyone has this problem?

Aha other crash, grrr, oki, send me a private message if you have a savestate some seconds before of the crash, and i will try fix it.
