I have recently switched my charter ineternet over to verizon, crazy upload speed on the verizon i ran a file transfer from my computer to a friend and it ran solid 85Kb/sec on whats suposed to be a 3mbit/768kbit.

How much are you paying? I'd much prefer to have SBC in my area with their new ~$15/month rate and about half the speed.

Oh BTW, you might want to check if FIOS is in your area. $5 extra for 5mbit/2mbit

meh i was excited and my browser was already in pc2 forums thus i got yelled at by ck it was deserved caus that was a prety dumb place to post that. Anyhow it is a prety bomb internet connection. My DSL started working about 2 hours ago so the excitment was prety high. Like christmas but 10 times better.

Ahh the joy of DSL, I know when I went from 56K to 2.3MBPS I was over the moon, and could barely contain the excitement, so congrats, and enjoy
