"Lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) teens experience homophobic remarks and harassment throughout the school day, creating an atmosphere where they feel disrespected, unwanted and unsafe. Homophobic remarks such as “that’s so gay” are the most commonly heard; these slurs are often unintentional and a common part of teens’ vernacular. Most do not recognize the consequences, but the casual use of this language often carries over into more overt harassment."

I think it's a really good initiative! :thumb:

^^ why is that so arent they humans ??

btw a nice initiative there.....over society is tolerant to LGBTS on the surface...but they have very less respect on the grass root/everyday level...our language is one example of it

So from your answer I gather that one's human quality is primarily dependent on one's sexual preferences.

Just for the record, does this only applies to human beings, or to any being out there? e.g. lions or penguins that are known to show gay tendencies, does that diminishes their quality as penguin beings or lion beings? How about species that are hermaphrodites or don't have a clearly defined sex? This is not sarcasm BTW, I'm seriously asking for your POV.

The other question, what are the factors that from your POV constitute the dignity of a human being, or any being in particular?

SQL, you might want to remember that we are not on the recycle bin, so please, keep your tongue in check. This is a sensitive topic, and if we don't keep it civilized it can easily go bad. No offense intended.

 i know exactly where the thread is.

And i'll repeat. Grow a thicker skin you bunch of sissy assed *****es. Only the strong survive. Nature has its ways of weeding out the weak, suicide being one of the prevalent forms.

Offence is taken because people want to take offence, not because it is intended. So screw them. let them *****, let them whine, let them go emo and cut their wrists. In the end its just doing me a favour in weeding the **** out of the gene pool.

Calling a guy a girl is insulting.

Calling a girl a guy is insulting.

Calling a straight person gay is insulting, because that's not what they really are. In the same way is calling a gay man straight offensive. Its about time homosexuals grasp that concept, and stop taking 'that's gay' as a demeaning statement.

In reality, its not much more than a figure of speech. To any gay people reading this... Get over yourselves. Seriously.

Usually I'd assume this is taken for granted, but it must be said... I'm not a homophobe. One of my closest friends is gay, and thankfully, he uses the same logic as me.

Gays are cool, some of them have nice style of clothes. :p

Here in my country, the society is in part male chauvinist, man that clean their houses and cook sometimes are considered gays and that's a big error.

I sometimes do that because my wife works too, so I have to help her in the house.

I said both, well sorry but i just can't say i respect a decision where a guy would rather "hump" another guy rather than a woman, but as long as he doesn't bother me i don't really care what he does who he "humps".
Just for the record, does this only applies to human beings, or to any being out there? e.g. lions or penguins that are known to show gay tendencies, does that diminishes their quality as penguin beings or lion beings? As for the animals example, i think that's rather closer example towards hornyness, its like in jail when convicts "hump" other convicts even if they weren't gay to relieve there sexual tension.

What i dislike about ****'s (sue me i didn't wanna right the hole word :p ) is there sheer stupidity and there "sissyness" if there is one with his feet down on earth educated i don't have a problem with that one unless he bothers me (but then i would have to kill him).

Personally I don't care if a person is gay, if they are comfortable with who they are and they are happy then it doesn't matter where their sexual attraction lies. But I think that these political correctness campaigns to try and stamp out some of these terms tiptoes into the realm of ridiculousness.
