Did any of you try going to that site?

Its pretty interesting... Not that I'm going to buy the game, I didn't especially like the first bioshock when I tried it at my friends place... It was kind of stiff(on PC)

It might wind up on Steam, or is that worse than SecureRom?

I actually like Steam but it really all depends on what game it is. It makes sense that Valve games work perfectly on steam but as far as I've seen, most everything else fails at making sense. Try joining an Unreal 3 server without having the game open :dead:

I haven't had any problems though; just a few annoyances. Steam just doesn't bother me as much as other people, I guess.

They both suck, I use neither!!! Okay, my mass effect has securom but I bought it without knowing that fact and now I'm pissed... The game is great, I'm just pissed because I rented a damn game for 50 €!!! ...Because that's what securom pretty much means.

Steam is FTW. But there are still Securom games on Steam.
This. Steam is fine (outside the bad prices for some European customers due to stupid conversion rates [though I think that's the publisher's fault]). Why Securom isn't removed from Steam, however, is stupid.

That being said, I have games with it (Crysis, Crysis Warhead, Red Alert 3, and Dead Space, possibly among others), and it's never given me problems. I hardly notice it's there. Some of them have deactivation/deauthorization either built in, or available separately (not that it's ideal or anything, but better than nothing).

I tried the first Bioshock (I have it on Steam), but it didn't instantly hook me, so it's kind of the backburner. It wasn't bad, but, I can't quite put my finger on why it isn't too interesting. Maybe I need to get further into it. Needles to say, Bioshock 2 isn't on my immediate or close watch list.
