Maybe a new one should be started so it doesn't bring sad memories for people.

If you two want to compare CPU+memory in benches then i suggest cinebench:

Its pretty much the best the software for this type of comparison, i use it to gauge overclocking results, for both memory and CPU, or when comparing an old system to a new one. It sort of gives a nice ratio to real world gains, so it makes it easy for me to compare, optimize and choose my settings.

Thanks bro but actually i don't do benchmarks and just did this one as i got interested. What really cought my attention was how my GPU performance balanced things here as overall DS gets a higher score than me but the massive points gained by the GPU result helped to overpass his which to be honest was a surprise to me and quite interesting to say the least. Other than that my stock i5 6600k and my 2,4Ghz RAMS can't stand a chance against his CPU and 3Ghz RAM.

I think the interesting question here for the rest is whatever we should spend more money on more expensive CPU and RAM or if is better to use that money to buy a faster GPU. As my quick test shows the money could be better spent in the GPU for performance as games nowdays rely far more in GPU performance than CPU. At the end is a choice everyone have to make.

Well this days at least from my tests i do see 2133 Mhz as a minimum for RAM, if your after good system response times. Gaming wise there's very few games where RAM speed makes a difference, Fallout 4 and Overwatch are the only ones that come to mind, though i think there where 2-3 others as well.

I recently spotted the Pentium G4560 which seems to be better than the old one and a good option to the i3 while offering similar performance and 4K resolution support. I have been thinking in getting a low-end PC for everyday task while only using my PC when i really want to game.

Since you have a good knowledge in such budget CPU's do you know if is worth it?
