After a jumpstart NGEmu folding team rocketed up to the top 10.000, with the help of our dedicated members we even managed to sneak into the top 1000 about a month ago, where we've maintained our position well, gradually climbing up. At the point of writing we are ranked 925th, out of 162.277 teams, achieved in only a matter of months.
Today, the 24th of July 2009, we can celebrate having broken the 3 million points mark. A Milestone for the team, so if you have no reason to open a cold one tonight, now you do
As visible on our Team Statistics Page our combined effort has led us to having completed 4427 Work Units to date. While D.D. is responsible for half the points already, kudos to everyone else having participated in this effort. As the founder of the team I hope you will continue to put your effort in this project so we can aid in the good cause.
If you're reading this and still haven't joined, why not give it a try? Head over to the dedicated Folding thread at our forums to get started. If there's any questions we'll gladly help you out!
Noteworthy dates:
9th of March, 2009: Founding of the NGEmu Folding Team, 161326
23th of March, 2009: NGEmu reaches the 100.000 points milestone
10th of April, 2009: NGEmu reaches the 500.000 points milestone
28th of April, 2009: NGEmu reaches the 1.000.000 points milestone
12th of June, 2009: NGEmu reaches the 2.000.000 points milestone
23rd of July, 2009: NGEmu reaches the 3.000.000 points milestone
As you can see, despite our slightly lower daily output of the last week, our total productivity has been going up. Let us aim for the 4.000.000 points for the first of September :thumb:
A big thank you goes out to all the contributors of Team 161326!
D.D, ChainGuy, skoreanime, Samor, masta.g.86, SCHUMI_4EVER, Dax, Phil, Thanakil, Regasin, BlueAmethyst, ShendoXT, AEN-85, Zicada, Squall-Leonheart, BobTheGoldfish, Mudlord, RonWood, Prafull, Nosound, Ahielia, Fadingz, Alacard, Gamezone51, TyphoonEx, Runawayprisoner (695 points with your rig, man
), GamesoulMaster, Ron, Harchen, Raremuh and Carre89.
We are with 33 members at this moment, I hope with our next milestone we are with 45 so that we may actually have reached it before September. If you have fast CPU (Dual/Quad core), GPU (either nVidia or ATi), you know what to do
Edit: Apologies to Regasin for the oversight, big thanks to you as well
