First, up to 11KHz, the codes are the same for mp3 and mp3PRO. And then, it constructs or it doesn't constructs the higher frequencies, that's equal, because it sounds really great! I love that thing, It's really hard to tell a difference between the CD original and the mp3PRO 64kbps track, and then who cares about hearing frequencies higher than 16KHz, I don't hear them anyway (probably some 16,x KHz ?!) ;)

Shit hearing. Original MP3 at 256kbit is CD-quality, 128 or so in MP3 Pro is CD-quality.

you're a freak! when I listen to music, I don't concentrate to find out where the codec failed or not, because when I would do so, I'm not hearing music anymore!

mp3 with 256kbps :p , what will happen, oh here the highs will not be so good as the CD, oh here the basses are not so powerful... why not 320kbps... or even 384kbps... damn there isn't such a bitrate :eek:
