The new Dr Who series has been running for a few weeks now here in Australia and I must say I'm really enjoying it. It has quite a developped story line, especially for what originally was 'afternoon kids tv' entertainment in its earlier series.

So what do you guys think? Because overall I love the new series to bits.

Who's afraid of the big bad wolf? ;)

Asking me if I like who is like asking elly if he likes anime. I grew up watching it from behind the sofa. The new series has had me glued from episode 1. The last 2 episodes will catch you by surprise (asuming you avoid the net :p).

I was pretty sure anyone could deduct that since its been made public a new guy is playing Dr Who next season and in previous seasons Dr Who has always died in the last episode to explain being reborn into the new shell (because hes a Time Lord).

Erm one of the worlds longest running scifi tv shows :p. It started in 1963 and ran continuously until 1989. It was then suspended due to lack of popularity, but it has been brough back this year for it's 27th year. Star Trek, in comparision only ran for 24 years. They also stole a few of the "aliens" from Who (best example is the borg, which are based on the cybermen).

I think the name Dr Who is really interesting because he always only refers to himself as 'the doctor', yet everyone who watches the show refers to him as Dr Who. The show never even says, except from in casting, "this guy here is Dr Who"...

Interesting, ey?
