you can change the sensitivity in the controller settings, or maybe try to map the analogs to the mouse.

but the best would be to use a gamepad with analogs.

use the nrage plugin and edit the range, picture below

a gamepad is a game controller for pc usually looking like a ps2 controller

first off update the emulator, you are using an old version. download the newest at Project64 Downloads - Binaries .

install that, start it and then go to options > settings and at controller plugin choose nrage, and then go to option > controller plugin and change the range.

have you tried copying the save directory from your old pj64 1.4 folder to the new pj64 1.6 folder

if you have icons of both pj64 versions on your desktop or something, right click the old version icon select properties and press the go to target/open file location button.
copy the save folder. repeat with the new version and paste instead of copying.

otherwise try the standard location c:\program files\project64 1.?
