The 6800gs will likely replace the current 6800gt cards. It has practically the same performance for less money. And it pretty much is a better buy than anything else at $200-$250. Also seems to overclock quite nicely too.

just answered my question there ....but how big of a difference???? the 6800GTs are close to 250 anyways

If 7800GTs don't get down by end of christmas, then I guess this will be my choice now

but I did notice that 6800GT has 16 pipes and the 6800GS only 12...or does that hardly make any difference anymore?
