Because there just aren't enough political topics here. ;) Anyway, I saw this somewhere and it seemed a bit more relevant than the typical online test. See which candidate's views more closely align with yours or something. Post your results and win a pony.*

The Bush/Kerry Test

My results were 16 points for President George W. Bush and 10 points for Senator John Kerry.

Your views most align with the views of Republican Candidate President George W. Bush. (LOL?)

I found my results mildly amusing, personally. I pride myself on being a moderate, but I thought my results would be more along the other side. :p

I got 11 for Bush and 46 for Kerry. BTW, I just got back from a Kerry rally in Minneapolis ;).

Edit: Interesting... My views went against the majority in nearly every response. Well, I've never been one to follow the crowd :p.

Vote for the world, vote Kerry ! *cough* :p

(I don't really like Kerry much, but at least he cares about the rest of the world, unlike Bush)

Lol, so so far the totals are 2 for Kerry, 2 for Bush, and one for they're both idiots :). That pretty much sums up this election I guess. Someone should add a poll with those options.

you scored 46 points for President George W. Bush and 6 points for Senator John Kerry.

I thought it might have been a little more even, but dang, how anyone could fall on the Kerry side is beyond me. Maybe it's because I have seen both sides of policies and such and KNOW through common sense which plans work and which ones don't....but then I have been into politics since the 70's...

well, I'm not a US citizen, but what keeps me from taking that test, eh.
'sides, I like it how you can rate the importance of the question. There was once a Dutch test that didn't have this, so it was actually cheating on the outcome in that way.

btw. here in NL you're not allowed to carry firearms. and it's awesome ;P

30 points for President George W. Bush and 11 points for Senator John Kerry.

hmm..but then again I couldn't vote there that Bush should be kicked for his politics outside of America. I guess inside he doesn't do so bad ...(uhm, like I know).

Screw the test. I'd still vote for Kerry :p hah. (not that I like him, he just gets the benefit of the doubt)

6 for Bush, 48 to Kerry. Not surprising at all, considering that I'm a progressive.

Very typical. It's the 100th I see you thinking that you know everything about politics. What about the american sociologist James Hughes , who is around your age and is strongly in favor of Kerry? Or guys like Chris Mooney , who are not young men at all (and deeply involved in politics for a long, long time) and strongly oppose Bush?

BTW, why is the Union of Concerned Scientists supporting Kerry instead of Bush? Maybe earning a Nobel Prize makes you stupid, right? Because ther're several nobel laureates in the Union, and they're all supporting Kerry instead of Bush. And they're not young men, either. In fact, most if not all of them are older than you.

Anyway, I can't understand how anyone can fall on Bush's side, either. Unless they really want to vote against women's rights, gay rights, the environment, the poor and favor the rich people of america with absurd tax cuts.

Well I got a 72 for President Bush and a 6 For Senator Kerry. Which goes with my view points. As I'm strongly against socialism, which the liberals and Democrats and most of the other nations in the world agree with. Personally I'm almost alone in believing Bush is one of America's greatest leaders ever. Along with George Washington and Ronald Reagan. For me I see George Bush as a man of honor, Integrity and Conviction. The war in Iraq is just an neccessary to world security. There will be less evil in the world after the terrorists are suppressed. Most importantly is he is for small government and individual freedom and rights.

When I completed the poll, I just got a table showing how many people agree/disagree with me.
In the page where you do the virtual job, first paragraph

As I'm strongly against socialism, which the liberals and Democrats and most of the other nations in the world agree with.
Could you give specific examples, or the source of your thinking? In my view the world works in the exact oppositve way, plutocracy... which isnt any good either.

For me I see George Bush as a man of honor, Integrity and Conviction.
Conviction? Integrity? The man who thought that onve thought that it was first priority to capture Bin Laden, and now thinks of it as unimportant? The man who has changed his position on gay marriage legislation at least 3 times. There are many, many examples like this... for once, one thing that Bush doesnt has is conviction :p

The war in Iraq is just an neccessary to world security. There will be less evil in the world after the terrorists are suppressed.
You are contradicting yourself here. How was Iraq a treat, under the terrorist point of view is a mistery for me. Moreover, you fail to see why the terrorist themselves exist in the first place. While people like you stay in the goverment, terrorist will continue to arrise over and over, because you can't see the prima causa.

Most importantly is he is for small government and individual freedom and rights.
Patriot act anyone? :)
