What do you think is the best possible setup for an N64 emulator? Like, core emulator and plug-ins. I use Project64 and I have a lot of issues with plug-in compatibility and whatnot, and I'm not sure what the hell is wrong with it anymore, as I have so many damn files in that folder... I'm considering just deleting it all and starting fresh, even if it is with the same emulator and plug-ins, just to get rid of all the residual crap that might be causing my errors.

So, uh, what do you think is the best setup? Or what do you personally use? I need some serious advice as to how to set this up again, this time from a more experienced point of view.

Wel how about post your system specs, different plugins will cause different effects since some games work with some plugins while not so well with others.

Which specs?

I've got a GeForce FX 5900, a gig of dual channeled PC2700 DDR RAM, a 2.6 P4 processor.

Dude, I'm not having problems, everything's just really ****ed up. My N64 emulator is at the point of not working, and yes, I'm using the latest nVidia drivers. Like I said, all the plug-in changes and updates and modifications have totaled it. All I want to know is a suggested setup for my emulator, as I am deleting everything and trying again. Like, for example, I usually use Project 64 with Azimer's sound, Rice's video plug-in which doesn't even load anymore as of the latest beta, and N-Rage's controller plug-in, which also doesn't work with my gamepad anymore.
