Terrible quality with ePSXe on games

Hi, I have an nVidia 8400 GS 512 mb+127 Shared MB toal is 629MB, 1GB RAM, 250GB SATA Hard Drive, AMD Athlon (tm) 64 Processor 4000+, 2.67GHz Single core processor, 5GB Page File, Display mode is 1152 x 864 32bit 60Hz..
I've tried P.e.OP.s It's terrible.. The quality is plain terrible.
I've tried Pete's OpenGL 1.77 and 2.7 neither of them are good.
I've tried Nik's Direct 3d Renderer. Not so good..
I've tried Lewpys and Kazzuyas Plugins, terrible.
I've tried Pete's D3D plugin, worked fantastic! With my other computer. -.-
I've tried Pete's DX6 D3D Driver 1.77. Nothing good just worked good with ATI.

So yeah, I've been wondering if anyone could help me..
My problem is that on my Fav. PS1 game Legend of The Dragoon..
Every character looks ridiculous.. Their all so badly done.. and what I've noticed is that Dart's Belt area is a square block..
I REALLY need help..my Sound plugins are working great and so is my BIOS, as well as my cdrom plugin.
If anybody knows better plugins or the solution to my problem
PLEASE POST SOMETHING!

PSX games will always be PSX games, so basicly PEOpS should suffice.

Since you said Pete's D3D worked fantastic, I need to ask you what do you exactly mean by "terrible quality". Basicly, if Pete's D3D worked great, Pete's OGL2 should do the trick and better (which you mention as not good).
Wow. That's a lot of complaining you're doing there. The graphics plugins can't work miracles on games that rely heavily on sprites.:p

Anyway try these settings with Pete's OpenGL2:

Note that setting the internal resolution above '0' has no effect on sprites. It only works on 3D objects. Setting texture filtering to '5' or '6' and the use of "hi-res" textures screws up sprites and 2D backrounds. Using screen filtering and maybe the "smooth shader" work to partially remedy this. Also, enable special game fixes and check the first game fix in the list. (It's for LoD)
What I meant was it worked FANTASTIC on my OTHER computer.. The quality of every sprite just doesn't look right and I can see right through most of them..
If it's a graphics issue I'm getting a 9500 soon.. Also, Pete's OpenGL2.7 Is like.. yeah.. the same as every other plugin I've tested except for the P.e.Op.s, peops is so much worse.
The latest OpenGL2 plugin is at v2.9...

Btw, why would you get an old 9500 card? Those things are quite old and a complete waste of money.
Sadly, which ever plug in I've used has the same issue. I'll take a screenshot and btw I don't have 1900x1200 lol I only have 1600x1200..

Anything above 8400 sounds good to me lol it was either 9500 or 9400

When I chose what your picture showed everything was sped up and I hate when things are sped up lol (Except for my download speed.)

???

What do you mean? The game was sped up? What version of ePSXe are you using? Version 1.70 has an internal framerate limiter, so you don't have to use the limiter in the graphics plugin. :/
I posted a picture at the top showing the quality and the glitch. I STILL have the same error pfft.

Lol, I'm using 1.7.0
the texture warping on the models is due to the psx not having a z buffer, and you cant really do anything about that aside from lowering the resolution to something like 640x480. the reason its so noticable is because your current resolution is far greater than what a real psx actually uses and that in turn ends up making this visual anomaly stand out more.

Ah, I see. That happen to me in Chrono Cross.

Jonc's right. There isn't much that can be done to remedy this other than lowering your display resolution. It all comes down to difference in hardware between the PSX (no Z-buffer) and PC hardware.
Well, Sadly my lowest resolution is 800x640..

1)Peops only looks good in 2D games
2)Try Pete Opengl2 2.9 with custom shaders
3)Nik's, Kazzuya's & Lewpy's plugins are outdated.
4)Pete's D3D plugins dont work so good on ATi actually, its better to use opengl & if its a 2d game like i mentioned above peops.
Pete's D3D made LoTD look great! I mean it! It looked as if it was still on the ps1 when I had my ATI graphics.
o_O ?? The most "PS1 alike" are PEOpS and Pete's OGL2 with low internal resolutions.
Then, just use a big old CRT screen and that's it. =3

Disable all the texture filtering and hi-res textures to avoid issues with sprites with "3D Plugins".
