Uh, use 1.7, it's the latest man, use ZeroSPU2 /w Time Scaling(You won't get full speed, this will help with cracking and popping)

Also, try enabling or disabling the Speed hacks, and different combo's of them.

"Patches not found" is normal, it'll say that all the time, for any game usually, unless you load a patch yourself.

I updated the graph plugin and used the sound plugin you told
I aswell tried to start the game with the different spedhacks/without speed hacks but the problem still remains

The game loads up till here

I even can play the mini game but if i press start or the mini game ends this happens:

Pcsx crashes basically (german windows ;o)

Tis weird, didn't know Germany used NTSC, you learn something new everyday :p

Perhaps it's a bad ISO, or DISC is all scratched up, or your improperly ripped yer bio's...could be any number of these things. You do have Nloop greyed and not a black checkbox, right?

Well i dont think its a problem with the bios file because other games like FFx or FF x-2 etc work fine
The nloop thingy you can see byyouself :O
Hmm well the scratched cd thingy @[email protected]
There are some lil scratches on it but well imo that shouldnt affect it that much should be still able to work

@prafull
If i do it with execute it doesnt startthe game it just loads up the bios
where i can select the memory cards and the cd if i select the cd still it doesnt start it >.<

Aha, I didn't even know that was the trick to get Tekken 5 running, was wondering why others were able to run it and not me.

At last Tekken 5 is working for me.I have the PAL version and if I don't create skip video patch and then I use Run=>Execute the game is working even on 0.9.4(before in compatibility list this game(PAL) on 0.9.4 was only intro so I don't know why is working now...maybe because of GSdx)

Seems that PCSX2 has bad support of BIOSes newer then 1.6. We tested different versions and it looks like PCSX2 applies some patch during boot with 1.6 or newer. At least with BIOS v.1.0 everything works fine without using run-execute. And, yes, we used BIOses dumped from our own consoles ;)

you might wanna try svn 307 or 335/336 for tekken 5, i used to have crashes too after pressing start but now its gone, unfortunately fps ingame is only 22-25, but no problem and no complains. Its still amazing considering the graphic quality of this game and pcsx2 can RUN it is just unbelievable

edit: ok tried it again with svn 336, gsdx 1.7, use dx9 renderer, any fs res, internal: native up to 1270x1270, i use efpolling cdvd, all hacks on AND run -> execute

i still find it odd that PCSX2 is region free and ps2 consoles arn't.

it would make sense if you're using a US bios, you wouldn't be able to play PAL games, but thats not the case.
makes me wonder how the whole region-restriction works in the first place... perhaps the bios has nothing to do with it, and its the actuall ps2 hardware that prevents the playing of imported games
