[Haste]

First-off, my pc specs ;
3.4 Ghz Pentium 4 HT
512 MB memory
Ati 9600 128 MB

When I beat arcade mode, I get the FMV sequence but after that, it says ; ''The king of Iron Fist Tournament'' and gets stuck....black screen...
I can prevent this by skipping it before it begins but this is a pretty annoying bug....
Can some1 help me?

Yeah, I have the same problem. I don't think it's a problem with your PC, since yours is better than mine... It can be a bug or a problem with the video plugin. Which one do you use?

Well, I'm playing the game from an image file; when running it from the CD, the problem persists.

Ok. An suspected problem would then lead to the quality of CD.
It could be scratched.

Sure, the CD could be scratched, although I don't think so. But we should remember that this thread was originally started by Haste, and it would be a huge coincidence if our CDs had been scratched so that we'd have this problem at the same point.

yeah, it is highly unlikely. unless you're both playing off the same pirated ISO....but if you have the CD then that's a moot point.

anywho, tried PCSX?

Well, this is something that I haven't tried before. Anyway, since ePSXe and PSXeven had the same problem at the same point, I guess PCSX won't be different, but...

By the way, hushypushy, you made me notice something about my previous post. This Haste didn't say anything about playing off CD or ISO, and I said that "(...)it would be a huge coincidence if our CDs had been scratched(...)". Maybe because fireblaster_lyz said that the CD could be scratched, and then I considered mine and supposed that the guy would have one...

yeah but i mean, if YOUR cd was scratched that could be the problem. owing to the fact that someone else has the exact same problem, it's highly unlikely...eh eh?

and hey, always try a different emulator, you'd be surprised (no foolies). for the serious PSX emulator, you'll need to keep a few emulators on hand at all time to deal with all games.
