i have a problem with black barscovering the screen....
its in a part of the game where effects are used to show steam or somethin rising but instead of that only large black lines scroll up on the screen
it wouldnt bother me if i could actually see the game


can someone tell me if there is a transparency setting or somethin i may have missed?

If I understood correctly your problem, you'll need to:

- Turn on "Full VRAM Primitives" on Pete's D3D ou OGL.

or

- Use Pete's Software Driver.

I recommend you use Pete's Soft, since enabling FVP usually makes the game way too slow.

Switch to Pete's Soft driver when you are in City of Scorched Sand, Chambard.

The same problem will happen when you're in underwater too (Aifish Submarine) I can't see anything....
Will the Pete's soft GPU make my graphics worse and slow?

Please help me..

with the newest update to petes plugins it will work with all of em if u use the xenogears game fix....
but it gets too slow to play for me but since petes soft gpu runs faster than b4 i dont have to worry bout switching

so just stick with soft gpu 1.54 and itl work fine

The graphics usually looks worse (IMHO) when using a Software GPU, but those parts of the game should run a lot faster.
