These screenshots are taken on my GeForce FX 5600 (2.8 ghz P4). Turok is completely playable and suffers from only mild glitches like missing polygons and water effects. The gameplay is very smooth, frames per second are real-time. It is even possible to overclock Cxbx and play at 4x+ speed without choking the system.

as you can see the min req for CXBX arent high. a decent computer can run it without any problems. i just hope your aware that it currently ONLY plays Turok Evolution

XXX ram
not "as you can see my specs are ..."

I have a p3 650mhz, so it's a sad computer
has 384mb ram, but still...

if cxbx ran on linux then I'd be set 2.2ghz with 800mb ram.

well i cant really invent any specs... the author has never given any minimum requirements for his emu. what i quoted is whats as closed to answer i can give you. if you want this is my guess (judging from what he said):

P4 2.0GHz
256-512MB RAM
Video: ATi Radeon 9600 or Geforce5600 and up

this is only a guess, i doubt your p3 could pull off full speed... if you have Turok Evolution, give it a try
