but you think my ideia is possible, using swap magic in the emulator?generalplot said:Correction: Swap Magic is NOT a cheat device, it's a disc that's sole purpose is to be able to boot back up's in a real PS2, it doesn't do anything else. And since the emulator doesn't do a check for bad sectors on a disc, using it in PCSX2 is pretty much pointless. It won't help any games get further than they normally would.
There's no point, it wouldn't do anything._Hentai_ said:but you think my ideia is possible, using swap magic in the emulator?
It does not meerly bypass it. It passes the check correctly like a normal ps2 disc, then stops the ps2 drive after the check so you can load a backup.Godwin said:Swap magic just bypasses the BIOS check. Nothing is truly emulated with it.

errr... in this case it's not that much pointless... when you only have swap magic for example 2.2 and only a backup of swap magic 3.3 which has better compatibility... that goes for real PS2 of course...Samor said:even if it works, it's pointless.
The same like booting swapmagic with swapmagic.
