As with the latest release of PCSX2, I got horrible FPS during combat and parts of the game with fire/smoke in Suikoden 3... around in the 40 FPS.

As I just finished Suikoden 2, I was really hoping to be able to play this so I decide to try out the 1475 beta.

It works pretty damn well...

E8400 dual core 3GHZ - OC'd to 3.6 ghz
8800GT
4 Gigs of ram
Vista 64

GSDX 1475
Direct3d 10 res 1536 x 1536

Speed Hacks
x2 cycle rate
INTC Sync Hack
Status Flag Hack
VU Cycle Stealing (Moderate)

CPU
Everything on left side checked except microVU1 (Tons of artifacts if this is checked, but microvu0 makes it work like a charm)

I couldn't really find anything on this, but if it is just common knowledge, you can remove the thread, though I tried searching everywhere and couldn't find anything.

Both me and a friend were unable to continue playing this game after a certain event i Iksay Village in Chris's Chapter 2.
During a cutscene the characters just stand there heaving instead of continuing to talk or ending the cutscene. No matter what we do we can't pass that point in the game so I'd say this game isn't "working".
I had between 90% and 120% FPS throughout the game untill that point though so it was pleasurable while it lasted. :)

UPDATE:
Never mind, it worked when I turned off the speedhacks, though the FPS got lowered to 30-50 something for that period of time, I hope it won't "hang" like this in any more places so I can keep playing with full FPS. :3

Cheers for this. It felt pretty slow when I was in towns and battle but this made it much better to play. I would have still played it regardless (being a suikoden fan and all) but this makes it easier to do so :D

Will take note of the crash ^_^ so I can avoid it myself.
