Howdy, what's happening here is that I made a CloneCD image but the game takes ages to actually start. Most of the other games I have take perhaps 10 seconds for the opening fmv or whatever to start; however, when starting Strider, I have to wait for something like 3-5 minutes and then the game will finally start. Other than that, the game runs perfectly so I'm pretty sure that it has nothing to do with video. Another odd thing is that if I make a save state, I'll be able to resume that save almost immediately after starting emulation.

Here's my gpu plugin settings just for the hell of it.

Then i think all you can do is use the savestate. That long loading time might be due to subchannel decoding, and then there's little you can do.
