Cool game. A bit too similar to NFS:U2 though. Atleast it has daytime races. The replay has some cool filters, but it's more of a gimmick than anything. I'd like this game more if it allowed me to use higher resolutions above 1024x768. The blur effects are too overdone so I've disabled them. Some of the bloom effects also need to be kept under control. You can't see in some races because of them. Also, the backgrounds aren't as well done as NFS:U2 as well as the shrubbery. The days of a 2 textures crossed in an X should be over(atleast use 3 or 4  ). :???: As is, here are some screenshots of the game.

1024x768(game limitation), all effects at max, no blurs, 4xAA/16xAF.

It sure looks good, do the cars handle the same way as they did in NFSU or it is as bad as Midnight Club 2?

what is wrong with control in midnight club 2? i think it has one of the best control for arcade style racing game. the only problem is that it makes other racing games to look like slow motion.
Midnight Club 2 uses the GTA3 engine and as a result, the game feels decidedly 'loose'. Far more so than even the likes of Screamer and Ridge Racer.

There are posts about the PS2 version of this game somewhere on here. It was hyped by most of the online review sites to be the NFS:Underground killer. That's the second hype I've ever bought into. I didn't play it much, at most 1 week. Now it's somewhere in the livingroom collecting dust.

It was the first to offer "free roam" driving and a pretty much useless clutch button. I'm not sure how much they changed for the PC version but I still won't buy it.
