when I play SFEX 2 on EPSXE V.1.4 the game doesn't even work.
When I play SFEX 2 on epsxe v. 1.2 the game freezes right at the "SCEA" logo. Why does this happen? How do I fix it?

play it with impact (you'll need the game roms, download them from the net)

Ain't necessary , just look at config or maybe you did a bad ISO from the CD .
