i updated the sourceforce sources..
now running games with xdk version 3911. i got the folowing strange thingy.

xdk logging yust stops.. i see the directx Init screen of the emulation mode then this goes byebye and see the cxbx main screen.

in the menu the game is still running..

here is the logging..
also turok is running a lot faster then the last time i updated the sources.

found it :)

cxbx needs to be run as a normal execute. just run it,,
normally i run cxbx within visual Studio just Ctrl+F5 combination then cxbx runs for litle time then dumps the Directx Window.. when running like a normal exe.. screen stays on screen.

mmm can give you a litle instruction set.

Open Wincvs..
on the sorceforce.net website you can get the login settings..

Menu Admin - Login

then you see a screen for login information.. on the second tab you need to set the following info.

Authotencation : PServer
and put this line on the cvsRoot line: [email protected]:/cvsroot/cxbx

then press the Ok button.

when you got a question for password, then yust press the Ok button.. password need to be blank.

then Menu Remote - CheckOut Module.
the you get a new screen..

make sure you made a directorie on your Harddrive where you wanne place the sources..

on the Module name place you yust place a .
dunno why this is.. but this makes that you download all the sources directly
on locale folder checkout you browse to the folder you wanne set the cxbx sources..
then by pressing the Ok button you download all latest sources.

for compiling you need to have visual Studio 6.
the DirectX9 Sdk .. you can download it here :

also you need to get the OpenXdk from sourceforge..
yust do the same as above.. but then place on cvsroot :

[email protected]:/cvsroot/openxdk

install the Directx sdk.
copy paste the .h files from the directy Include from your diretcx9 sdk into the include from cxbx.

then copy paste the directory xboxKernel from \OpenXDK\include into the directory
Cxbx\Include

then you ready to compile...

can someone how to make mappings to these libraries into visual studio 6 ??
this is yust a quick and dirty way.. but dunno how to make these mappings.
