my roommate gave me an IBM Aptiva that someone left for dead on the curb... anyway, bad post beeps, hd hosed, ect...
cracked the case - the only card is a video adapter sitting in an ISA slot(btw there are 2 PCI slots)
the thing has a phone jack built into it!
is it a modem n was it common at some time to do this or was it an ibm only thing?
just curious - ive never seen it b4 n ive brought a few back 2 life
