Yeah, I signed up awhile ago. Kinda cool Blizz is going the way of Steam. I can chuck all my discs now.
Hmm... good point! Sign up for SC2 so you have a better chance when you sign up for D3!Surprised this hasn't been mentioned yet. Diablo fans might as well sign up now as well, signing up now puts you on the list for future Blizzard games too.
Well, you gotta have a Battle.net account I believe...so yeah, at least one game I believe. If you haven't played SC or Diablo yet...might as well go pick up the battle chest for like $15.I saw it this week, but dunno why i havent posted here, sorry.
I heard you got have a blizz game to enter de SC2 beta, is that true?
I really hope not.
The real appeal with SC tho has always been the multi (as it is with most RTS).Well, it doesn't make much sense to play Starcraft II if you haven't finished I oO There's a lot of story and characters involved, so you may be quite lost when it starts.
Well im not buying a game will never play just to get into a beta test thing...
Yeah, I'm expecting that. I don't expect much from a story point of view from Blizzard after they butchered their Warcraft world. The real appeal with SC tho has always been the multi (as it is with most RTS).
I think Blizzard will make it easy for new players to understand the story tho, that's the kind of basic error they would most likely avoid doing.
(but SC is still worth buying, even not taking the beta into account)
How so? Most of the hate toward Warcraft and it's story now seems to be misdirected hate coming from peoples ill-feelings toward WoW, instead of actually being based on serious problems. It just looks like fans are angry that Blizzard made a game that doesn't cater to them, and decided that now everything WC-related is "bad" (to put it lightly).Yeah, I'm expecting that. Haven't played those ones yet. I've been busy playing Pax Imperia 2 & Shattered Nations on bnet.i have 4 xD
WC2
WC3
Starcraft
Diablo
I suppose that's true to a sense. I just hate how they expected people to play WoW to find out what happens to major lore characters. Not everyone has the time to raid every other night. How so? (As far as Blizzard and story goes, it doesn't look like much has changed, except that they now hire more writers and release more books. As for the WC universe, it also simply looks like fans are less forgiving now that Blizzard is "popular". I mean really, how many times have they changed Medivh's story before? His character alone has given birth to more plotholes than many other series have, yet fans didn't really seem to care until now. They screw up the story every once in a while, but they always did.)
I'd like to know the reason in particular why you feel like they ruined the story tho. (maybe I'm just biased)
