I saw episode one racer at the store for like $5 (jeez the game is old), but I was about to buy it cos I already have it on N64 but want to try it out on computer for obvious reason, (I don't want to get the buggered game running on an emu though).

But I didn't get it because I wasn't sure, does pod racer support multiplayer on the same PC? Or is multiplayer only over a LAN?

If it had internet support I doubt anyone is still playing on the servers. More than likely it was a direct port from the console version, so it would have 2 players on 1 computer.
