SCU interrupts were corrected.
Myst, Burning Rangers and Shin Megami Tensei Devil Summoner now work.
The graphics of MeltyLancer ~Ginga Shoujo Keisatsu 2086~ are now correct.
Transparency effects of the VDP2 were corrected.
Mahou Gakuen Lunar!'s graphics are displayed correctly.
Sprite processing of the VDP1 was corrected.
The water in Akumajou Dracula X is now fixed.

That author also mentions that interrupts might lock up the emu sometimes (or something like that), and to reduce the number of SH2 commands to fix that till its corrected.
I wounder if he'll add 3d rendering, that'd be great
it's not possible to accurately reproduce the Sega Saturn in Direct3d and thus the slower but lot more accurate software rendering is used, the author mentions that on the main page (at the bottom).

The Saturn used forward-rendered quads, while Direct3d uses polygons, they work entirely different.

Personally, I think it's a lot better that it uses software rendering, even if its slow. The image is reproduced 1:1 this way, even up to the level of interlaced drawing (!!!) which is something that I haven't seen in too many emulators. Are there any psx or n64 emus that work the same way, by the way?
that's too bad, the problem I have with software rendering aside from the fact that it's slow is that it doesn't look very good for 3d graphics.
The Saturn wasn't really a 3d powerhouse, so getting higher resolutions or antialiasing wouldn't really improve the graphics that much.

The way Saturn does 3D (quads), AA/filtering can't be done without causing errors, anyway.
There's a lot of more things done, aside from AA and filtering, compare something rendered with software render and hardware without any AA or filtering, and you'll see what I mean.

Anyway if it's not possible that's just too bad :O
you'll get slightly smoothed edges (depending on the resolution), and thats it. It will still look crap due to the low texture resolutions. In fact it will look even crappier due to that...
There's not much point in discussing it since it's not possible anyway, besides I know too little about how the 3d in saturn works.
