with the SSE2 emulation "patch" for non-sse2 cpus how would I go about loading the gsdx9-sse2 plugin.. because without a processor supporting sse2 the plugin will not load.. help would be appreciated..

I think you're using a non-official build of pcsx2 then. VU RECs won't be implemented into non SSE2 systems until the release of v. 0.9

You're not going to find any help here with non-official builds.

ok the SSE2 emu does NOT give you SSE2 super powers. all its doing is using SSE ops to do what a single SSE2 opcode would do, and its ONLY for Vu-Rec.

gsdx9-sse will not work if your processor does not support it, so stick with the non-sse one

the support is processor dependant, not OS dependant. if your processor supports it, everything supports it, simple as.
