System: Vista 32bit
Processor: Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz
RAM: 2 GB
GPU: GeForce 8600 GT

others are unimportant, but good enough obviously
and it seems a bit slow in some other stages too. (Actually most of them with 'better graphics'.

Do I need a new computer?
I'm using build 1546.

its odd it freezes on your system

if it would freeze on my system(P4 2,4Ghz 1GB Ram and a geforce 6200) i would understand
but yours... :/

you can't fix it btw(unless you can code and fix it in dolphin's code :p)
it has to do something with how dolphin handles the effects(i think)

...also am I correct in that the problem with Dolphin's speed is because the code is too complicated and unnecessary?
If so, or otherwise, when can we expect a Dolphin revision that can work perfectly with my computer?

i know since i tried the 15xx builds melee slowed down a bit for me (it's the only game i have, anyway)

try it with the 14xx revisions, or earlier, you shouldn't see it slow down so much now. it'll still be slow, but playable - that's my take on it at least

Your specs are really close to mine and I get 20-30 on that level I believe. A little slow but still playable. Something else is wrong. I would try on an older Revision and see if that clears it up.
