Hello there. I just wanna know what is the needed specs to run games on PCSX2. Especially the RPG's like FF X and XII.

My laptop specs are :

Processor : Genuine Intel(R) CPU T2060 @ 1.6GHZ (2CPUs)
Memory : 512mb RAM
OS : Win XP Home
Video Card : 256mb Mobile Intel(R) 945GM Express Chipset Family

My desktop specs are :

Processory :AMD Sempron Processor 1.6GHz
Memory : 512mb
OS: Win XP Pro
Video Card: 256mb NVIDIA GeForce 6100 nForce 405

Just mediocare specs but can it run? i mean not the maximum effects but just normal. No delay and such. Because if it can run i will buy PS2 games. Just asking. Thanks you.

Both systems are capable of running PCSX2... like crap. I wouldn't really consider either of those systems mediocre.

In short sir, IT CANNOT RUN PSCX2, is that it?

You can run it, but don't expect any games besides (maybe) Disgaea to run at fullspeed.

Only the first one, in fact. PCsx2 needs SSE2

But there are some people who have been able to run it on Duron processors. Snails pace, but still running isn't it?

that desktop is worst to run it than a laptop
but still indeed unable to enjoy at fair speed.

And if you cant run a game at near full speed, you might as well just stick to your PS2.
