Anybody have any good recommendation for a sound plugin or configuration on Final Fantasy 9..?? I have a rather speedy system (512 meg ram, 1ghz, SBlive)...I notice when I play the game and at the end of a battle one of the tones hangs (rather annoying)until it goes back to the main screen...does everyone else have this problem??

Take the latest null2 spu plugin (1.35)
Then check the boxes enable vag stream and force vag 48khz (reverb too if u want)
The sound will be perfect, but the FMVs will flicker..
In order to see them properly, just switch to the internal spu before a mdec...

I might be wrong about this...but I thought sound doesn't play at all in FMV's with Null2 spu plugin....

Hey Frenchy,
you said switch to the internal...

Is it possible while playing to switch between différent plugin???
If it is, why don't develepers make mutliple pulgin selection??

For exemple:

EpsxECutor-Version Sekxx 1.00
Game SPU plugin [........] [ConfiG] [TesT]
MDEC Spu plugin [........] [ConfiG] [TesT]

And So one...

The best among 1.35..1.34..1.30..1.17 dat i've tested..
it seems the 1.30 is the best coz it doh't slowdown in FMV

I think he meants save b4 MDEC and use the internal for it..
then turns to Null's again
btw..with the setting i wrote ..it's no problem in FMV by using
Null's anymore..just some info..hope helps

English> , that's not pretty fun to save just before a MDEC, then turn off ePSXe, choose another epsxecutor config, boot the game, load your "state", see the MDEC, save, turn off ePSXe, choose a another ePSXeCutor profile, launch the game, load your state and then play )!!!

Well I used 1.35 (since it was the one I had installed at the time) and your right the sound is near perfect!...while I played I came across one mdec and there didn't seem to be any slowdown, played rather smooth, but it was sort of short FMV...I can't wait to come across a long FMV to see how that goes...
