I'm running into sound issues when attempting to run both Jade Cocoon and Parappa the Rapper.

It's not that I don't have sound, I do, but most of the sound is extremely scratchy and garbled. It's not all of the sound either. During the initial bootup, the developer and publisher sounds all play fine, but the actual game sounds, (the voices especially in Jade Cocoon) are horribly scratchy and almost incomprehensible.

I assume it's a problem with my sound plugin configuration, however I'm new to the Playstation emulation scene, and I'm not really sure how to fix the problem.

I'm using: "P.E.Op.S. DSound Audio Driver 1.9".

Any help would be appreciated.

This may help:
I've been trying most of my games, and have the same trouble with Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete. The voices are horribly garbled as well.
