I'm getting moments (15 to 1 min) of choppy/popping/awful audio in my pcsx2 games. I'm using version 0.9.6 of pcsx2 with P.E.Op.S. SPU2 1.9.0 for my sound plugin. I've noticed a lot of people getting great results on version 0.9.6 of pcsx2, and haven't found complaints about sound glitches in that version. Or should I be using a different sound plugin? Games I've tried that have the glitches are FF10, FF12, and Front Mission 4, all of which are listed as fully playable on the pcsx2 compatibility list.

Yeah, don't use peops. Use spu2-x instead.
