I'm about to test this FF-Tactics with ePSXe 1.4.0 today...let's see if I can work it out :yawn:

Try testing different settings, usually that's the only way to find out what works and what doesn't !

Well i ve just tried w/ those plugins (which i think there are the more accurate at the moment IMO)

Null2 plugin 1.35
Pete s Dsound 1.10
Iori spu 1.45
internal spu.

I ve experienced the best sound w/ iori ' s one.
Here s my configuration:

Just set the defaults settings and check High, resolution mode; wait gor XA buffer is free; enable noise and pitxh modulation and I ve enabled the reverb too.

Of course there are small glitches (like the introduction movie for example).
But i find it great (enough to play anyway).
I ve a Sound Blaster 512.
and (i know it will annoy some of the people here) try VGS w/ fftactics:
The only glitches i have found in this one is some sound missing (night sword effet for example)

Thanks to Rargh and PeGe's reply.
I finally found out the problem is not the plug-ins - just because my machine is tooooo slow. I tried this game on another machine, and it works fine!

my pc: Celeron 450(oc), TNT2 m64
pc2: PIII 500, TNT2 Pro (this works fine)

But pc2 only the internal spu works. I guess on a faster platform all the stuffs will work.
