I borrowed this game from a friend of mine who hasn't played it yet(to busy playing Aquanox) and I've got a question: HOW THE HELL DO YOU SAVE? I'm only at the beginning and always stay there coz I have to restart the entire first part.

You have to go to certain place to save. You will meet the first save point after u come out from the Sarafan stronghold. Once u come out from the Stronghold, u will see the save point location very soon ( Raziel will tell u that is the place to save ).
I have finished the game today,and the more u play, the more questions u got..... And the final part is really unpredictable ( atleast for me ), Razial is a true killer... he killed.... Kain is a bad guy..? I dont know, he is weird... What the heck is this Mobius? Elder God? hmmm..totally dont know what there want and what they planned.. Kain claims that free will is an illusion.. but he... How about Razial.. i thought i know him... but i think not even he know about himself.. what the heck?
Well, Soul reaver 3 is the key....

The game leave more questions than sr1.It seems like some unknown big guys are behind the scene doing some big things.. and after finished the game,it gives me an idea that kain has some problems with those guys and is fighting them...
And sr3 is planned.
is it the thing that looks like a post with a glowing ring in it's side? i haven't been far into the game and i can't find a good time to play it continiously(plus i have to restart from scratch if i haven't found a save point) so if don't know if i have encountered a save point.
btw have you seen AquaNox? it is BEAUTIFUL, very nice graphics:eyes: even on a GeForce 2 GTS. any of you guys have a GeForce 3 and this game, are there any major graphics difference between playing it on a GF2 and on a GF3?

The ending is almost as same as sr1... the story stop after... but this time, it makes u want to play sr3 more than before... Kain is only one of the weid guy in this game doing weird thing.. almost everyone in the game has their own missions to do, but i dont know what they want.. Raziel is more like a pawn than a Messiah in sr2.. seems everyone know what to do except him...
Well, it is the combination of the two.The game is short ( but i think it is enough,it is only one cd... ) and i played it almost non-stop after i got it.Besides, the puzzles in the game are not as hard as sr1,so u dont need to suffer to find the solution. ( but if u expect hard to solve puzzles, this may dissapoint u a bit ). For the enemy part, enemies are harder to kill compare to sr1, some monsters even chase u until the spectral world ( u must kill them if u want to proceed, it is no way to escape until u kill them ). When the first time i saw the 2 big monsters, i was killed .. they attacked me until i changed back to spectral world, and then came to spectral world to kill me again... @#$$$
This is a good game, but just a bit short... the storyline surely makes u want to know more....

yea, that is the save point location.Go near the hole and press action button and a menu will show up to let u save.
For AquaNox, i just checked it from gamespot.com, gamespot give it 10 points for the graphcis part, but 4 point for gameplay.

Well, we have to accept the fact..Crtystal Dynamic is money hungry, they want to make more money with soul reaver series...
Anyway, i would be more dissapointed if the story end in Soul reaver 2. When Soul reaver 3 come out, im sure i will be more excited to get it compare to sr2, and i think it'll be the final series ( lets hope so) ...
Why is it so short? May be same as other ps2 games, this Soul reaver 2 was also originally planned for ps one.. Most of the games that originally planned for ps one but finally ported to ps2 have short gamelife...
