my epsxe crash after a long loading when i select those hidden characters any one knows the reason?

not using savestate. spending hours practicing its "critical edge extension" (A+B+K, b,bd,d,df,f, B+K), very hard to perform on keyboard, and finally finished all the quest, but... just imagine how i'm feeling. i guess it maybe the emulator problem.
