Weak cpu... it's a laptop after all. Expect regular performance.

hm, you pretty much need a 2.8Ghz or higher to get maximum performance out of Dolphin, as that emulator will tax you CPU pretty hard at 100% all the time...

suppose you could try getting a laptop with a 2.8 Ghz Core 2 Duo T9600?

Ok, deejayvoo,
with that frequency speed for the chip, don't have high hopes. It sounds like a nice laptop. Price is about 600 quid?

Unless you need the laptop's portability as part of school or work, you could use the money and build a faster desktop along with maybe a cheap non-tn display. Laptop displays usually have bad contrast/viewing angles. Otherwise it looks like a nice laptop, and to be honest, the emulator isn't perfectly fast or always fast with even the fastest machines..judging by what people put down in the video/pic threads.
