Any game I try to play, Lunar, Grandia, Parappa the Rappa all have tiny skips in them whenever I play. The occur about every 15 seconds or so, and it is driving me crazy. I know this should not be happening, any help? I'm running the games off CDs, would that be it?

I'm using Pete's D3D Driver 1.75 with these settings:

Plugin: Pete's D3D Driver 1.1.75
Author: Pete Bernert
GFX card: RADEON 9200 SERIES

Resolution/Color:
- 640x480 Window mode

Textures:
- R5G5B5A1
- Filtering: 2
- Hi-Res textures: 0
- VRam size: 32 MBytes

Framerate:
- FPS limit: on
- Frame skipping: off
- FPS limit: 60

Compatibility:
- Offscreen drawing: 3
- Framebuffer texture: 1
- Framebuffer access: 1
- Alpha multipass: on
- Mask bit: off
- Advanced blending: software

Misc:
- Scanlines: off [0]
- Unfiltered FB: off
- Dithering: on
- Screen smoothing: off
- Full vram: off
- Game fixes: off [00000000]

I'm also using ePSXe SPU core 1.5.2 with Enable Sound, Enable CDDA sound, and XA Sound selected. I'm using ePSXe CDR WNT/W2k core 1.5.2. My computer specs are

2.4 GHz Pentium 4
Radeon 9200 SE video card.
768 megs of ram.

And I'm running the games off of a DVD drive. Any help?

try using Peops CDR plugin; that's the best one there is.

Eternal 1.41 would also be an excellent choice for sound.

on a side note--if you are gonna be playing a particular game a lot, it'd be a good idea to make an ISO and just play off that.

Yup. Just rip the CD to your hard drive. That's perfectly legal. Just don't give it to anyone.

>>Does it matter if the game is rented or not?

Good god yes! That would be illegal. You have to purchase the game retail.

Okay stop discussion about this. You're double posting. You seem to notbe readin the rules which I pointed out to you multiple times, and you keep discussing illegal activities. Future discussion about this will result in a ban.
