Have been experiencing prob with silent bomber. U can oni hear the first few words of each sentence in the game, and that few words get repeated 2, 3 times till the next sentence (This only happens in the gameplay itself though, the FMVs voices are ok.)

Eg: "This is a...This is a...This is a".
Another Eg: "Help! The ship is...Help! The ship is...Help! The ship is....", then the next sentence.

Btw, tried most of the spus, inclu the new ones, but found the same prob. Anyone with the same exp? Any soln?

There is no solution to this problem. The only thing to do wait for the next release. epsxe 1.40(for some reason they skipped 1.30). The epsxe team has said that they've been working on in game speech so hopefully this will solve the problem. There is not a release date yet so just be patient and good things will happen.

Sound Problem :
-If The sound is repeat and repeat :
Try To Enable the SPU IRQ Always On
-If the sound too choopy: ( Pete Midas )
Try to enable XA Smoothing on the plugins
-If the sound too fast so the MDEC isn't sync: ( Dsound 1.8 )
try to check the GPU plugins,
- Set the FPS to 50 IF the region is PAL ( by the No 1)
- Set the FPS to 60 IF the region is NTSC
