I had windows 7 RC and all PCSX2 revs I downloaded worked. But now I installed 7264, and only the install of PCSX2 works. Is there a way to fix this?

you need to install both the x32 and x64 VisualC runtimes on x64 editions, not just the x64 runtime.

That was exactly the problem, thanks. You knew without any other options for me to try... almost as though a lot of people asked. But I searched lol. Well the topic title of my thread will be much easier to find a fix to the problem then.

its not just related to PCSX2. actually i had similar issues recently with windows 7... can't remember what it was i was trying to run though.
