close off everything but windows update.
try to run disk clean up, restart, and retry.
No its not that, its already been done.
It was just some user option somewhere that had to be changed. When i had problems before i downloaded it from a random site and it had a readme that told how to fix it. Illl look on my drive to see if its there.

Well i found a soulution but it was different my my own previous. Supposedly its a thing the beta testers used to install it, a tiny little bat file, and sp3 installed like a charm.

-If people want and its ok ill post an attachment of the bat file.

Edit: whoops, didnt mean to double post, sorry

beta testers are retards.

no seriously. i tested every version of XP sp3 beta, without uninstalling the previous beta, just by creating a slipstreamed disk and repair installing.

saves from the post SP install slowdown syndrome.
