hmm, exactly every second? with fraps you can make a movie ( which is a collection of screenshots ), for example with 25 fps it takes 25 pictures per second....

Use aldos framecapture utility. It works by using the built in windows printscreen key. You could set your keyboard settings to 1 sec intervals for a held down keypress. Then you're set to take screens at 1 fps.
