at first is works fine, but after ANY game starts the colors are completely scrambled and you cant make out anything. ive used close to every plugin and in almost every combination possible. im running windows ME with an intel 810E chipset at 1280x1024 if that matters. i have a small pic of it if it would help.

I've seen a similar screen in Chrono Cross, but its a little backwards

Everytime I start Chrono Cross and it is about to show a video openning title screen, I see a screen similar to your screen shot, but then the real scene comes in after about a second. (Is this normal for other people?) The sound always seems to be working, even when the video isn't coming through.

I'm usiing an

Athlon TBird 1gHz
GeForce 2 GTS 32MB (Latest Detontators reference drivers)
512 MB Cas 2 PC133 SDRAM
Windows 98 SE
Santa Cruz Sound Card (Using the original ePSXe sound plugin)

Strange coz one of my friends also have same problem and thats why he isnt able to play on epsxe. With few other plugins the problems reduces a bit but still not playable. And he isnt using intel 810 chipset (but still he has an onboard graphics card).
Its only a suggestion "if nothing else works try reinstalling latest drivers for 810E chipset available on intel site".
note--I have 810 chipset and works fine.
