SCPH 39001 Bios = low fps ?

I've recently tried using my SCPH 39001 Bios in Pcsx2 0.7.
the games work and everything but I get unbelievably low fps.
any1 have a clue why ?

lol

ok I use all the "standard" plugins that u get when downloading latest pcsx2.
my machine specs :

barton 2500+ @ 3200+
256x2 3200 memsticks (dual-connected)
Radeon 9600 XT 128
A7N8X-E Deluxe
