Ok this is really wierd. It happended to me in both Chrono Cross and ff9. At the beginning of the game, the saving works... then for some reason, the saving doesn'T work anymore! I have to do a save state and rename the save state.. Is there a solution to this problem or it's just a bug with the emulator?

are you using savestate and then trying to save in the first place? If not also try pressing F4. I had problems with saving some data in FF9 too but I just saved state then reloaded the ss and saved and then it worked.

In the FAQ, i think they said that they were going to adress this problem in a future release. The problem with renaming the save state memorycards. Maybe an option for us who dont care if the memorycards are overwritten.. hummmm...

It's a bug. There was something mentioned about save states and sound, not quite sure what. I do believe that it is being addressed in the next release of ePSXe.
