question 1:- what button saves and which one loads savestates

question 2:- when usually do i hafta press f4 when i load up epsxe once i do it once do i have to do it everytime i load espxe or what how can i tell. u please tell me when to hit f4 to save. did 1.40 fix this? help me!!!!! thanks

still not fixed, use it when you access memcards.

1. F1 = save state
F2 = change slot
F3 = load state

2. use F4 everytime you have problem with memory card
(load/save), sometime it will help with another problem too.

Rio is right about this. Bilgerat must have been thinking of a different emu.

Use F4 whenever you need to. That's whenever your memcard isn't detected, sometimes when the game randomly freezes, sometimes when your gamepad doesn't work.

Sometimes I have to press F5 to switch to digital, and then again to switch back to analog mode to get my controller working. I do not seem to have this problem as much with ePSXe 1.4.0.
