Using SSF, I'm playing Shining Force III on two different computers and wanted to transfer save states between them.

The problem is after transfering the files, the save states never work on the different computers, always giving the "load error" message. The SSF set ups are basically the same and I know I'm placing the files in the correct directory with no other conflicting files.

So I ask what is the problem for the save states, am I missing something?

save states are very unstable for any emulator, and you shouldn't transfer them.
For the record I've tried to transfer them and failed as well.

you should just do a normal save and transfer that
