Because I really don't want to store all of my .iso images on my Hard Drive and use up all that space, and because I'd like to keep my .isos portable, I simply put 3 images on a blank DVD and use Run ISO - which works fine.

The problem that occurred is that the disc revs up and reads what it needs, and then stops. Then I run into a spot where the disc has to rev up again to keep the game playing.

Is there a way to make the drive keep reading, or to cache the data? Sorry if this is a stupid question, I expect it's probably been brought up before.

Problem solved. Nero Drivespeed lets you turn down the read speed on a DVD Drive so the drive doesn't rev up to ridiculously high speeds that it doesn't need just to process the .iso, meaning much less lag on the rev up itself.

Not the perfect solution, but it did the trick.
